Course content

Chinese Studies at Edinburgh includes teaching, supervision and research in a wide choice of traditional and modern subjects, with a focus on modern culture, literature, film and media. It maintains strong interdisciplinary cooperation with other departments conducting related teaching or research.

For the last UK-wide Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) Asian studies produced significant work of world-leading and international status.

The Chinese section is home to the Scottish Centre for Chinese Studies.
