The minimum entry requirement is a UK 2:1 degree, or its international equivalent, in a numerate discipline such as mathematics, engineering, computer science, physical or biological sciences, economics or business.

As a major financial centre, Edinburgh is an excellent place to study operational research, which is in high demand in the finance industry. This programme will show you how to use mathematical techniques to model and solve real-life financial problems.

In this programme you will gain industrial and financial knowledge as well as a range of specialist skills in computing, optimization and statistics.
