A UK 2:1 honours degree, or its international equivalent in a relevant discipline is normally required. Alternatively, you may be considered on the basis of employment or relevant experience.
Months of entry
This Certificate programme has been introduced in response to the growing global interest in children’s physical education, physical activity, sport and wellbeing.
The part-time nature of the programme, combined with some online learning, will enable students to complete the qualification while maintaining their current role.
Courses involve a detailed investigation of the developmental, curriculum, pedagogy, professional learning and policy knowledge needed to support learning in different contexts across the 3-14 age range.
With physical activity being a shared endeavour, students will critically investigate the collaboration and partnership issues raised in school and local community settings.
