Entry requirements

Academic entry route

To satisfy the academic entry route requirements for our MSc Enterprise IT Management, you must have the following qualifications as a minimum:

• an undergraduate degree from an approved institution, equivalent to a UK Honours degree, or a relevant professional qualification

Work experience entry route

• at least three years’ relevant IT or computer science work experience.

English language requirements

As our courses are delivered in English, a high proficiency is required in this language. If English is not your first language, your English ability should be equivalent to an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5. Don’t worry if you don’t hold an IELTS or equivalent qualification – we offer a free online English test to assess your proficiency.

You don’t need to prove your English ability if you are a national of, or have completed a qualification equivalent to a UK degree in, any of these countries.

This course combines technical expertise with a holistic understanding of business strategy. Whether you currently work in IT or a role related to this area, you’ll come away with a solid understanding of cloud computing, cyber security and data science – coupled with a sharp knowledge of how to maximise business value. What’s more, our modules are measured against the new EITBOK, which is backed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, as well as the Association for Computing Machinery.

Finally, you’ll have the opportunity to conduct your own research project on a topic of interest relevant to the course.

Information for international students

International students residing in specific regions outside of the UK may be eligible for a partial scholarship for our undergraduate and postgraduate online courses.

Students residing in Africa can also enjoy a 20% scholarship on all eligible undergraduate and postgraduate courses until the end of the 2024-25 academic year.
