In order to satisfy the Academic Entry Route requirements for our PG Cert Education (Educational Practice) programme you must have the following qualifications as a minimum:
- An undergraduate degree from an approved institution equivalent to a UK Honours degree or a relevant professional qualification.
In order to satisfy the Work Experience Entry Route requirements for our PG Cert Education (Educational Practice) programme you must meet the following criteria as a minimum:
- At least two years’ teaching experience in a post-compulsory educational setting.

Do you want to quickly improve your own teaching practice? Our 8-month PG Cert Education (Educational Practice) will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to tailor teaching and learning methods, resources and assessment effectively for a diverse range of learner needs.
Working alongside fellow teaching professionals, this course examines professional practice in higher education while also imparting the skills and knowledge to engage in a range of practices to ensure ongoing professional development, including critical reflection, research and enquiry, and participation in discourse with relevant communities of practice.
This PG Cert Education (Educational Practice) can be achieved as a stand-alone qualification or can be the first step towards our PG Dip Education or our full Master of Education (M.Ed.).
