Entry requirements

A good honours degree from a recognised university (typically a 2:2 or higher) in Geography, Environmental Science, Geoscience, Engineering, Economics, Archaeology or a similar subject.

Candidates with other professional/industrial experience or qualifications will be considered for the PgDip programme, with a view to progressing to the full MSc programme subject to satisfactory performance in the first 120 credits.

  • Discover the fundamentals of surveying, and delve into geomatics, minerals and environmental topics, enabling you to graduate with distinctive practical and specialist skills
  • Taught by the internationally established Camborne School of Mines (CSM), a combined mining school and geoscience department
  • Accredited by both the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors, and recognised by professional associations around the world
