The MSc/PG Cert Minerals Processing (Professional) qualification is part of the suite of mining programmes available at Camborne School of Mines. It is aimed at working professionals looking to gain a deeper understanding of minerals processing and how this fits into the wider mining life cycle.

The programme is designed to give each participant an insight into every part of mineral processing, from discovery, design, and recovery through to reclamation. It will enable you to gain a clearer understanding of the processes in place to ensure we manage mineral development and production in a responsible manner.

The first year comprises a flexible, industry-relevant immersion into mineral processing, which is then followed by more detailed studies in the second and third year.

Professional programmes are the future of mining education: industry aligned courses, learning while you work, forming interdisciplinary industry wide professional networks and exposure to international mineral processing practices.

Open to experienced mining industry staff – even without degrees, but with appropriate experience. The course opens up the entire mineral processing value chain, including finance, principles of extraction, processes and modelling, social impacts and extraction business skills.
