An ordinary or honours degree in any subject, including degrees in psychology that are not accredited by the BPS. EU and international students need IELTS 6.0 overall (no less than 5.5 in any other band) or equivalent.

Our MSc Psychology programme is designed for graduates in any area who wish to pursue a career in professional psychology. Completing this programme will qualify you for entry to further training, in areas such as forensic, occupational, clinical and sports psychology.
Whether you’ve studied in psychology but didn’t gain accreditation with the British Psychological Society (BPS), or you’re looking to change career paths, this programme is suitable for you. Our philosophy on this course is to build on your existing graduate skills and attributes, and to focus on addressing your particular needs.
Converting your degree to a new subject area can be a considerable challenge. Participants on this course value the close and supportive relationship between staff and students, achieved during face-to-face interaction in the classroom, laboratory practicals and personal tutor meetings. The programme follows the core BPS curriculum, with a strong thread of cognitive neuropsychology, including practical laboratory-based sessions using the latest EEG and Virtual Reality technology.
