Course content

Designed for people already working as restorative practitioners, this postgraduate course will enable you to achieve your Restorative Justice Council UK Advanced Practitioner status while gaining a valuable academic qualification.

You’ll hear from experts in restorative justice and practice from across the world – experts who discuss their own work, the development of services in different contexts and the challenges you face in delivering and developing services.

Study style

The course is delivered entirely online, using the university’s state-of-the-art online platform. You’ll study two modules – each supported by researchers and practitioners from across the field.

You’ll have a Personal Tutor to support you in your learning and assessment. Through a mix of collaborative discussion, lectures, seminars and contributions from experts from across the world, you’ll reflect on and develop your work as an advanced restorative practitioner.

Your assessments will be portfolio-based and designed to give you the skills, knowledge and expertise you’ll need as senior restorative practitioners – as identified in the Restorative Justice Council’s national competency framework.
