Course content

This Master's Stage Award is ideal if you already hold a postgraduate award in a general management discipline worth 120 CATs, or have demonstrated that you meet the knowledge requirements based on your work experience at a senior level.

The programme is delivered as a part-taught provision. The focus is on strategic awareness through undertaking a dissertation concerned with a ‘real’ business problem.

Whether you have worked in business for a number of years, or are a specialist and wish to progress into a more senior management position, this course will provide you with an opportunity to work at a more theoretical level on the issues that matter in business.

From 2018, the University of Gloucestershire Business School will move to a brand-new, state-of-the-art home at our Oxstalls campus in Gloucester. The £16 million development will be home to our Business, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Law and Accounting and Finance courses. Find out more about the new Business School and other developments with our virtual fly-through video and see where you could be taking your next steps towards a career in business.
