Entry requirements

You will need a good honours degree in an analytical discipline such as accounting, finance, economics, engineering, mathematics or physics or substantial passes in the examinations of a professional body (eg CFA, PRM, FRM). EU and international students need IELTS 6.5 overall (no less than 6.0 in writing and 5.5 in any other band) or equivalent

All learning is based on real market data: you will hone your skills in the Thomson Reuters Trading Room, acquire the skills and expertise needed to enter the dynamic world of finance at a senior level. This course allows you to the flexibility tailor your learning and prepares you for registration with professional bodies within the finance industry.

The course is aligned with the latest requirements of the market; students can seek registration with industry bodies such as the Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA) and Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA) before or after graduation. Through active learning, you will develop the experience and competence required to enter the finance world at a senior level. Practical workshops, use of a trading floor programme, problem solving, case studies and business simulations will consolidate your expertise.
