Course content

This online course covers the principles, tools and techniques used in the design and evaluation of interactive systems - establishing requirements and designing, producing and developing user interfaces. Students gain an understanding of the different stages of multimedia production, covering contemporary media standards. The following compulsory modules are studied: multimedia specification, design and production; human computer interaction: selecting usable systems; human computer interaction: developing usable systems. Course will prepare students for a career in roles such as user interface designer or consultant in areas like product usability, IT systems or websites. If English is not the first language, a minumum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent is required.
