A recent, good bachelors degree (e.g. honours degree from the UK) or equivalent in Computer Science or closely-related subject. Plus IELTS 6.0 if your first language is not English.

Course content

The MSc in Computer Networking Principles and Practice considers current research and practice in computer networking, distributed systems and security. You will develop technical expertise and practical skills in the design, management and evaluation of networks, and in the use of tools and techniques for system security.
The core modules are: distributed systems security, multicast and multimedia networking, network system administration, secure systems programming, wireless, mobile and ad-hoc networking.

Information for international students

If English is not the 1st language a minimum IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent will be required.
