A BMus, BSc or BA in music, or an equivalent qualification or professional experience. Applicants also need to submit a small portfolio of original compositions as evidence of solid compositional work.

Course contentCourse allows students to explore their individual creative ideas at an advanced level, engaging with important concepts and developing their own compositional language.Refinement of compositional techniques and methods of construction are fostered at all stages and students are encouraged to compose large-scale and detailed work. The course also concentrates on the integration of new technologies in music making (electroacoustics, live processes, interactive systems, etc).
