Course content

The MSc in Automotive Engineering is specifically designed to enhance the employment and promotional opportunities of graduates in mechanical and automotive engineering.The programme considers in depth key areas of automotive technology. Its integrated design covers both the technological and management aspects of the motor industry. Core modules are: quality, reliability and maintenance; advanced, computer-aided engineering; integrated product engineering; automotive dynamics and safety; advanced engines and power systems; automotive electrical systems; automotive materials and manufacture; operations research plus an individual major project. Project will be a University based, independent investigation of a technical problem that may take on a design, experimental or analytical character, or combine elements of both.

Information for international students

If English is not the 1st language an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent will be required.
