Entry requirements

The entry requirements are normally a good first degree or equivalent, therefore demonstrating the ability to study at level 7. We will consider applicants without a first degree; these applicants should be involved in some way in services delivery, or be a recipient thereof. We wish to encourage applications from non-traditional students (particularly service users and carers) who may have missed the opportunity to become graduates but who nonetheless can demonstrate potential to work at Masters Level.

The MSc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities offers a contemporary programme of study for a range of professionals/practitioners/ carers working in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The MSc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities programme is a direct response to recent public interest and government agenda of reducing premature death, improving care & treatment and enhancing the health and wellbeing of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
