Entry requirements

A first degree in a related discipline, applicants with evidence of equivalent professional/academic experience will also be considered. Normally two year's full-time (or equivalent) experience within a relevant field of practice and employment in a relevant area of practice whilst enrolled on the programme.

Course content

This course will help students develop the knowledge and skills needed to improve and innovate within the field of medical and healthcare simulation. It will fulfil elements of continuing professional development, as well as giving valuable transferable skills and fostering life-long learning. Modules are: Health and medical simulation - design and delivery; health and medical educaiton in the workplace; evidence-based practice; medical emergencies and human error, managing risk, improving services. And/or: business skills for clinicians. And: service improvement project or healthcare disciplines project. The remaining 60 credits to be earned from a range of optional modules.

Information for international students

If English is not the first language a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or equivalent is required.
