Entry requirements

Minimum of a 2.2 at degree level, but students are expected to have produced work at a 2:1 level, from an appropriate subject – Psychology or Cognitive Science or acceptable equivalents. If students do not have the above requirements but have at least two years relevant work experience, they will be invited to apply and each case will be considered by the Programme Leader. English language requirements. All students from non-majority English speaking countries require proof of English language proficiency. The following qualifications and grades will be considered - GCSE English language grade A-C - IELTS 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in any band) Other English language tests are accepted. Course content

Course combines high-level vocational training with academic rigour. It prepares students for careers in a wide range of areas including consultancy, specialist roles within organisations, research and particular technical specialisations. It is accredited by the BPS and provides a one year exemption for those aiming to become a Chartered Occupational Psychologies. Modules: Human Potential and Performance; Research and Professional Skills in Action; Selection and Assessment; Ergonomics and Human Factors; Transition Psychology; Organisations and Change; Individual and Organisational Learning.

Information for international students

If English is not the first language, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in any band) or equivalent is required. There are a small number of scholarships available for international students. Ask for details on application.
