Entry requirements

A 2:1 honours degree and relevant work experience. The British Psychological Society (BPS) requires that those admitted to the MSc Occupational Psychology have the 'Graduate Basis for Chartership (GBC) this means having completed an accredited undergraduate programme in psychology or having made a successful individual application to the BPS. Those without the GBC may apply for the MSc Organisational Psychology.

Course content

Course is for students who do not have the Graduate Basis for Registration, but are interested in exploring career development within this professional area. It offers a challenging programme of study, developing knowledge of organisations and the people who work for them. Although not accredited by the BPS, students work alongside and share modules with students on the accredited MSc Organisational Psychology, and will be able to achieve the same level of academic attainment and understanding of this professional area.

Information for international students

If English is not the first language, a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 (with no less than 5.5 in any band) or equivalent is required. There are a small number of scholarships available for international students. Ask for details on application.
