An Honours degree (2:2 or above) in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Engineering Systems or a closely related science subject area or an equivalent professional qualification. You are encouraged to apply if you have other qualifications and/or experience and can demonstrate that you are equipped with knowledge and skills equivalent to Honours degree level. For applicants whose first language or language of instruction is not English you will need to meet the minimum requirements of an English Language qualification. The minimum of IELTS 6.0 overall with no element lower than 5.5, or equivalent will be considered acceptable.

This course should equip you with the advanced practical skills and expert knowledge needed to succeed in the industry. You will be taught by staff who are dedicated professionals in their field and supported by an excellent range of industry standard equipment. This includes an open plan design studio equipped with design and analysis software and an advanced automotive laboratory with vehicle and engine test facilities including a four-post ride simulator, wind tunnel and thermal imaging facilities.
