Although this specific course will not be available in 2019, a similar range of courses will follow covering contemporary topics that suit the changing external environment. Our new courses should be available to view online from mid-November, however in the meantime please do get in touch if you would like to enquire about any of our Business School courses.

The overall aim of the course is to develop you as a Human Resource Manager in an international context and improve the quality of your professional knowledge, behaviour and values.

This course offers you a relevant blend of HR related topics; including a general introduction to the major aspects of HR, and related international issues such as managing diversity and inclusiveness, HR strategy and inter-cultural management. Specific modules include Managing People in Organisations, International Business Environment, HR Strategy, Research Methods and a dissertation.

You are encouraged to develop critical reflection and a range of skills and techniques specific to International Human Resource Management. The course will focus on the development of relevant personal and interpersonal skills, in preparation for a future professional career in people management in a global dynamic context.

Our innovative teaching methods include extensive case work in addition to seminars, tutorials and lectures. We encourage students to be highly independent learners. Modules can be based on individual work or group work, and all teaching and assessment is grounded in real life situations or live projects.
