A good undergraduate degree is required (normally a 2.2 or above or its international equivalent). It is not necessary to have a first degree in Economics, Business Economics or Financial Economics. However, through the application process you must demonstrate prior study at Bachelors level of either: Economics or a quantitative subject (e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Accountancy, Finance). As many of the concepts and analysis on this course involve mathematical techniques you are expected to have a working knowledge of calculus and should know the basics of vectors and matrices, probability and statistics.
