Entry requirements

Minimum - BA equivalent to a British Honours degree of upper second class or higher, in most instances. International students - For international students, an IELTS score of 6.0 (5.5 in all skills) or equivalent, such as Pearson PTE, is also required.

This MA offers a comprehensive and up-to-date postgraduate education in the relationship between politics and economics, the state and the market, and the contemporary global economy.

You’ll gain knowledge and skills beneficial in a wide variety of careers, and many of our graduates have pursued careers in commerce and the private sector, governmental organisations, higher education, and international, and non-governmental organisations.

Information for international students

Competence in English language is required, as evidenced by IELTS 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each skill) or equivalent, or previous study in English.
