The University of Law (ULaw) is one of the UK's longest-established specialist providers of legal education, with a rich heritage and reputation for innovation. In fact, we've trained more practising lawyers in the UK than anyone else. With campuses based in many of the UK’s most vibrant and interesting cities, in addition to a campus in Hong Kong, ULaw offers a first-class, professional learning experience in a diverse choice of locations.

We specialise in teaching and focus our energy on developing innovative, highly effective teaching and learning methods that equip students for their professional career. Over 90% of our tutors are qualified lawyers with experience in practice allowing you to learn in a realistic, professional and contemporary context.

We offer a range of postgraduate legal training and Master’s degrees designed by qualified experts to help students advance at any stage of their career. Our courses are employment-focused, honing key skills in a teaching environment based on real legal practice. Part-time and online study options are available on many of our courses to help students work and study at the same time.

We offer the following postgraduate courses:

52% of our full-time UK/EEA 2018-19 BPC students graduating in 2019 have successfully secured or completed pupillage (based on student data collated Summer 2021. Previously the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC).

As an LPC or LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2) student at The University of Law, you can benefit from our Employment Promise: We’re so confident that you’ll succeed, that if you do not obtain a job in nine months after completing our LPC or LLM Legal Practice (SQE1&2), you will get 100% of your course fees back, made up of 50% as cashback, plus 50% as credit towards any further courses*.

We have a large and generous scholarship programme, with over £2million available across our fund to support students through their studies.
