Course content

The department of Italian is part of the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies. With more than 10 staff members the department has special interests in Dante and the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, modern fiction, film, cultural studies, narratology, Sardinia, the history of the language, and printing and the history of the book.

Library resources at the University are of a high standard providing an extensive coverage of texts and critical works from the 13th century to the present.
