Course content

Russian and Slavonic Studies is part of the School of Languages, Cultures and Societies at Leeds.

Concentrating on 19th- and 20th-centuries, the department study language, literature, history, politics of Russia, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic. Special interests in translation theory, nationalism, Siberia, Silver Age literature, Tolstoy and the media.
