Entry requirements

A good first degree or equivalent qualification - applicants without a first degree will be considered on the basis of their career to date, managerial or business experience, and potential for benefiting from the programme. At least five years' post graduate work experience, in a supervisory, managerial or business capacity. You should be able to demonstrate evidence of career progression and achievement A pass in an approved test in English, if your first language is not English. All applicants will be required to undertake an interview, either by telephone or in person.

Course content

The Leeds MBA combine the 'hard' knowledge of business subjects with the 'soft skills' now so much in demand in business. Our general management programme is designed to give you confidence and knowledge in the key areas of your business, with the opportunity for specialism through option modules and the MBA Project. The core programme covers the broad fundamentals of business and management issues in ten modules, you then have the choice of three options from a range of specialist business area such as Entrepreneurship, Management Consultancy and International Management. Our one year Full-time MBA exposes you to the latest management thinking and practice that will accelerate your career. Our part-time Executive MBA covers the same ground over an extended time period to allow you to combine work with study.

Our part-time Executive MBA is flexible enough so you can fit it in around your work, whilst giving you time away from the office to fully focus on your studies. It is delivered in intensive three day blocks Thursday to Saturday, every six weeks with a few modules delivered over four days, Thursday to Sunday. The majority of teaching takes place at our impressive executive conference facility, Weetwood Hall.

Our MBA open events take place throughout the year and provide you with a great opportunity to find out more about the programme. Events take place at the Business School and online, as well as representatives from the Business School attending events and exhibitions around the world. We also run online information sessions regularly throughout the year for enquirers and offer holders.
