Entry requirements

The applicant should have competed their Masters degree and at least few years of professional experience in the workplace postgraduation. Exceptional candidates of high professional standing without a postgraduate qualification will be admitted at the discretion of the University/Programme Board.

Course content

Participants study 180 credits of taught modules, i.e. 7-12 modules, taught in three-day blocks and going beyond what is achieveable in Masters-level study. This is followed by a 60,000 word thesis. The focus throughout is upon small-group teaching in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.

Information for international students

Evidence of english language is required. The taught programme requires eight x one-week visits to Leeds over one or two years, and several longer visits while doing research for the thesis.
