Students will normally be expected to have a good honours degree in the social sciences. A degree in other disciplines may also be considered if accompanied by professional qualifications or experience in an education-related field.

The MSc in Educational Research Methods are specialist programmes designed for those professionals from within the UK or abroad working in education or educare related fields who wish to gain a deeper understanding of how to analyse, use and do research as part of their own professional development.
