Entry requirements

PhD/EdD: normally 3 years' minimum experience in teaching/educational administration. EdD students: possible accreditation for MEd, MA or MSc degrees awarded within 5 years of application; transfer between the taught MA and the EdD may be possible.

Course content

The School houses internationally renowned researchers and facilities. All research students follow research methods training. The Integrated PhD programme combines subject specialist modules, generic skills training and research methods components with the individual research thesis. The EdD also has a substantial taught component of subject and research methods modules.
