Course content

This course brings together the history of science and the philosophy of science in a stimulating and supportive environment. You will take a core set of modules that combine both the history and philosophy of science and specialise in either, or continue to study both. Topics you may choose to pursue range widely across the field of modern Western science since 1500, covering the history of physical, biological and social sciences, social history of science, philosophy and sociology of science and technology, philosophy of physics, and history of medicine.
