Course contentThe department has 23 full-time academic staff including 6 professors. Research activities focus on the areas listed above, and active interdisciplinary collaborations with other university departments. Wide range of modern facilities for synthetic chemistry and physical measurements. Both teaching and research laboratories have undergone complete refurbishment.
The department has active research programmes in all the traditional areas of chemistry, including: atmospheric chemistry and gas-phase spectroscopy, biological chemistry and biomolecular sciences, electrochemistry and interface science, fluorine chemistry, green chemistry, and synthesis and catalysis.
