Entry requirements

A Masters degree in education or related fields plus 3 years' professional experience. Exceptionally a person with only a good honours degree and at least 3 years experience might be considered

Course content

All students must complete 6 assignments including a thesis proposal (totaling 25,000 words) before progressing to write the thesis itself (55,000 words). Written assignments are assessed and graded. The thesis is assessed by an internal and an external examiner who also conduct a viva voce examination. Teaching and supervision is provided by university staff. Compulsory attendance is required at study schools.
