Minimum of 2:1 Honours degree and usually also a Master's degree from a British University or equivalent qualifications from another recognised institution. Sufficient professional experience to undertake their proposed research. Applicants whose first language is not English need to supply evidence of a high level of proficiency in English (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 250/600 min, or equivalent).
