Normally a good 2nd-class UK honours degree or equivalent in Archaeology, or cognate subject. Formal application and (for UK residents) an interview is required.

Course contentComprises 2 core modules, 2 options modules from a range available to this and other MAs (including elements of Greek and Roman history if desired), dissertation. Research training included, provided by School, faculty of Arts, and university. Flexibility in coursework allows specialization either in Archaeology or Ancient History.
