Students who successfully complete the Graduate Diploma programme, or equivalent, and achieve 2nd class honours standard or equivalent are eligible for consideration to progress to the Masters degree. The selection process will consider the length of teaching experience of applicants and will normally expect that applicants will have 2-3 years teaching experience. Entry to the programme will be based on the result of a written application and interview.

The programme aims to produce research appropriate to a Masters level qualification, which contributes to the field of music education research, both nationally and internationally and to deepen students' knowledge and awareness of the key issues in education
