A primary degree in any discipline with first or second-class honours. Applications will also be considered from candidates with a pass or general degree if they have suitable work experience.
Months of entry
The objective of the Graduate Diploma programme is to provide participants with the skills necessary for the analysis, design, testing, implementation and maintenance of computer based information systems in a commercial or industrial environment.
Semester 1- Programming Language 1, Computer Organisation, Development of Information Systems 1, Decision Support Applications.
Semester 2- Programming Language 2, Operating Systems, Data Communications, Development of Information Systems 2, Topics in Software Engineering.

Fees and funding
The University of Limerick is offering 10 taught postgraduate scholarships to potential applicants for the 2014/15 academic year. The value of each scholarship is €2,000. The successful candidates will receive the scholarship in the form of a reduced fee. The Scholarships will be allocated by the faculties on the basis of financial need and personal statement from the applicants.
