Course content

With increasing globalisation, providing international financial reporting and financial statements is of increasing importance. The use of International Financial Reporting Standards has become standard practice in the field and this programme is predicated on their use.

The MSc Accounting programme provides you with an understanding of modern financial reporting functions from a technical and institutional point of view. It enhances coherent reasoning on issues in management accounting and financial reporting.

This programme explores accounting practice in the context of contemporary theory and research, preparing you for admission to professional accountancy bodies and for a career in accountancy.

The programme supports ACCA Foundations in Accounting – Papers F1, F2, F3 and F4.
