Entry requirements

A minimum 2:2 honours degree and grade C or above GCSE Mathematics. Please note that as this is a conversion Masters programme we do not accept those with BSc or BA Accounting onto this programme. Applicants from all other backgrounds will be considered.

Course content

The Accountancy and Finance MSc has been designed to develop the knowledge, skills, research interests and career prospects of those who work, or wish to work, in finance or accountancy.

The course assumes little or no business knowledge at undergraduate level and aims to help graduates from any discipline break into this highly skilled profession.

The course aims to provide you with both the key principles and the practical skills to prepare and analyse accounts and related financial information.

It is also designed to help you to understand financial management decision making and the methods used to raise finance for companies.

Information for international students

English Language at IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each element, or equivalent. The University of Lincoln offers international students who do not meet the direct entry requirements for a postgraduate degree course the option of completing a pre-master's programme at the university’s International Study Centre.
