Course content

This internationally focused MSc is designed to prepare you for a career in the events industry at a senior level. This specialist programme offers an appreciation of the theoretical insights, knowledge and practical competences that are required in the events workplace.

Through a combination of theoretical and practice-oriented study, you will have the opportunity to develop the knowledge and skill set required to conceive, promote and manage events successfully. There is an emphasis on strategic insight and a critical understanding of the operating environment.

Students will have the chance to attend excursions and study visits as part of their postgraduate programme. All costs associated with these trips are covered by the University.

There may also be the opportunity to participate in optional trips which are primarily attended by undergraduate students. There may be additional costs associated with these trips. More information regarding these costs can be found in the special features tab.
