Entry requirements

For Ph.D. registration: a minimum of a 2:1 degree or/and a Masters degree (or international equivalent). For M.Sc. registration: a minimum of a 2:2 degree (or international equivalent).

Course content

This programme provides students with specialist training and a good grounding in microbiology.

You will receive supervision and training in a wide range of microbiological and/or molecular approaches. Postgraduate research focuses on developing your skills in project management, data analysis and scientific writing and communication. You will undertake a bespoke programme including literature reviews, experimental design, laboratory and (where relevant) field research.
