Course content

No profession is changing faster than journalism. This is a journalism degree for the future, designed by Australia’s leading thinkers and practitioners in news media futures, to fit students with the skills they will need to be part of redefining the profession. Students will learn the ever important skills of journalistic research and clear communication, as well as multimedia skills, new media entrepreneurship and cutting edge elements of practice such as Data Journalism and the use of social media to assemble and engage with audiences.

The program is designed for students who are dedicated to pursuing careers in journalism and journalism-related fields, and for journalists and other professional practitioners working in the contemporary media industry who wish to update their skills, develop additional advanced skills and expand their education.
