Course content

This practice-based course represents the final step towards registration as an architect in the UK.

To be effective professionals, architects must be able to manage a wide range of disparate requirements, demands and constraints affecting the process of designing and producing buildings. This programme deals with issues related to the context for practice, the management of architecture and the management of construction.

You should be working in an approved practice as the course draws upon your experience. The course comprises recall days held throughout the year where you will attend intensive lecture, seminar and workshop programmes to introduce the key material. Project work is undertaken in the workplace and then used to explore and understand the application of this material.
