More than £9 million has gone into state-of-the-art laboratory facilities and equipment, which are housed in the modern Boots Science Building and the £25 million Centre for Biomolecular Sciences. The latter is the University’s largest and most ambitious research structure, bringing together some 300 scientists from across the University, including our Division of Medicinal Chemistry and Structural Biology and part of our Division of Molecular and Cellular Science.

The Boots Science Building houses the Laboratory of Biophysics and Surface Analysis, the Division of Drug Delivery and Tissue engineering and part of our Division of Molecular and Cellular Science. Our EPSRC AstraZeneca Doctoral Training Centre is also housed in the Boots Science Building.

The Division of Social Research in Medicines and Health is housed in the Pharmacy School Building, alongside our teaching laboratories, state-of-the-art online dispensary and new Pharmacy.
