A good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or a master's degree in an appropriate subject. Exceptionally, equivalent professional experience and/or qualifications will be considered. All shortlisted applicants are subject to interview.
English language proficiency at a minimum of IELTS band 6.5 with no component score below 6.0.

OVERVIEW
We are actively engaged in conducting research on a wide range of relevant issues relating to leadership, ethics, organisation studies, human resource management and development, employment relations, sales management, advertising, operations research, organisational excellence, and corporate branding. Members of staff work with businesses and policy-makers who are participants and recipients of our research to ensure that our work has relevance and impact.
RESEARCH CENTRES AND GROUPS
CENTRE FOR OPERATIONAL RESEARCH AND LOGISTICS (CORL)
Members of the CORL provide a broad coverage of the field of Operational Research and Quantitative Logistics. Our research is organised under eight themes: Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis, Exact methods, Heuristics and Metaheuristics, Optimisation Modelling, Soft OR and Integrated Methodologies, Logistics, Transportation and Supply Chain Management, Healthcare, Marine and Maritime, and Renewable Energy and Sustainability.
BUSINESS EDUCATION RESEARCH GROUP (BERG)
BERG’s purpose is to promote relevant business education research, scholarship and evaluation. Members engage in interdisciplinary research and evidence based practice within the University, with academic professionals in other Higher Education Institutions and employers. Research is organised into five themes: Technology enhanced learning, Pedagogy, Employability and entrepreneurship, Knowledge management and organisational learning, and Management and leadership development.
SPORTS CLUSTER
The Sports Cluster group of research staff are concerned with investigating some of the critical issues facing contemporary sports management and business. Our interests and expertise fall into the four general areas: sports economics, sports law, sports finance and governance, and team performance.
THE GATE-TO-PLATE RESEARCH GROUP
The Gate-To-Plate Research Group brings together a multidisciplinary group of researchers from the Business School. This ranges from accounting, agricultural and environmental economics to executive information systems (EIS) and Business Intelligence.
