The PGCert SENCO is required for all new SENCOs and will help deepen their understanding of teaching and learning for all pupils, by getting participants to reflect on and examine individual difference and explore ways to meet that difference through appropriate educational provision.
The course involves three 20-credit modules which provide a combination of theoretical and practical information about meeting the needs of all students. The course is run in conjunction with Berkshire and Surrey local authorities and teaching is done by expert practitioners and academics. Assignments take a practical schoolbased focus.
