Entry requirements

All candidates must have the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC) of the BPS, a 2:1 or above in psychology or equivalent, experience in an emotionally demanding helping role and basic training in counselling skills. International applicants whose first language is not English must have an IELTS at 6.5 or equivalent.

This programme provides professional training that leads to eligibility for registration as a counselling psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and chartered status with the British Psychological Society (BPS).
