Entry requirements

Relevant undergraduate degree, normally at 2:1 or above, and supporting portfolio of practice. Applicants with an undergraduate degree of 2:2 will be considered where a high quality portfolio of practice is presented. Applicants applying to the MA Fashion Innovation: Design will be asked to provide a proposal of study in support of their application. Accreditation for Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully. The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process could help you to make your work and life experience count. The APL process can be used for entry onto courses or to give you exemptions from parts of your course. Two forms of APL may be used for entry: the Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).

Course Summary

Your time on this course will develop your understanding of fashion design to a professional level. Upon graduation, you will be familiar with a wide range of fashion concepts and be confident in proposing innovative solutions to real-world design problems.

As a student, you will receive instruction and guidance from expert lecturers, tutors and industry figures. Additionally, you will have the chance to collaborate and knowledge-share with your peers from other Fashion Innovation courses. Information for international students

International applicants must also provide evidence of proficiency in English, in the form of IELTS 6.5 overall band score with no less than 5.5 in any band.
