Entry requirements

The minimum entry requirement for those from a British University with Engineering and Scientific disciplines is 2:2 degree. Suitable For: Graduates from an appropriate discipline, such as mechanical engineering. Professionals with four years’ relevant industrial or professional experience may be considered for entry to the PgDip initially. Accreditation for Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) Applications from practitioners without formal qualifications but with significant experience of the criminal justice system may also be considered via our Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process.

Course summary

A comprehensive range of subjects is studied covering the whole spectrum of natural gas engineering, providing a sound base from which to select an area of specialised study.

You may also be eligible for membership of the Gas Engineering and Management Institute and subsequently become a Chartered Engineer. Alternatively you may wish to continue your studies to PhD level, researching gas engineering or other related subjects available within the School of Computing, Science & Engineering.

International students must provide evidence of proficiency in English- IELTS 6.0 band score (with no element below 5.5) or above are proof of this.
