The institute comprises 4 centres of which 2, Contemporary History and Politics, and Policy Studies, have well-established research interests in environmental studies.

Department specialisms

Environmental Politics with particular reference to the EU; Environmental Rights in the EU; Pollution Control; UK Attitudes to European Environmental Legislation
